Is the pre-estimate a binding quote?+

No. It is a transparent planning estimate based on the information supplied. The matched installer verifies measurements, concealed-risk areas, selections, permits and schedule before issuing a binding proposal.

Can AI know square footage from any photo?+

Not reliably without scale, camera data or known measurements. The intake asks for dimensions and clearly labels when a catalog baseline is being used. Production vision can assist measurement, but field verification remains required.

How does Renovation Buddies make money?+

The prototype uses a 6% fee from the accepted project price, with configurable minimum and maximum amounts. There is no homeowner estimate fee and no installer subscription in this model.

Who receives my contact information?+

Matched installers can review a redacted project. Your direct contact details unlock only after an eligible installer accepts the match and the customer has consented to sharing.
